MOLOTOTSI CIRCUIT PRE-SCHOOLS CELEBRATE HERITAGE MONTH WITH CULTURAL PRIDE

The EMIS Officer Ramahala D, Molototsi Circuit Manager Sekgota L.L and ECD Social Worker Hlongwani T.G. were also among those who attended the celebration.

The event provided an opportunity for children from different backgrounds to come together in the spirit of unity and cultural pride. The children showcased various traditional dances, such as Sekgapa and Dinaka, reflecting the richness of local heritage and traditions.

Awards were also presented to children who excelled in their performances.

Mr Hlongwane encouraged daycare teachers to continue with their important work of caring for children, while paying particular attention to their safety, wellbeing and nutrition. He also emphasised the importance of teaching children about their culture and heritage from a young age.

The celebration was demonstration of the importance of preserving cultural heritage through education, while promoting unity and instilling a sense of cultural pride among the younger generation.
