NEW PRESENTER : MMAKOBO MASETLA

Mavis Mmakobo Masetla is a new presenter on Perfect Radio for the 2026/7 season. She is from Medingen Village.

Mavis started her journey in media in 2022 at the University of Limpopo. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in 2025 and her Honours Degree in 2026.

She was drawn to radio from a young age. Growing up around radio, listening to stories and the way news was presented made her fall in love with the medium. That interest grew into a passion for news reporting and understanding how news is packaged and shared. Mavis also loves writing, and she found that Journalism was the perfect field to express herself and her love for writing.

Listeners can expect energy, interaction, good conversation, and factual reporting from Mavis.
