PASTOR ARRESTED IN GA-MAPHALLE OVER ALLEGED SEXUAL ASSAULT

The community ordered the pastor to leave the village with all his belongings, including the pot with red wool that he allegedly uses for “miracle” services. He was escorted to a sports ground carrying the pot, while fellow Zimbabweans assisted him with his property. He then set fire to his church uniforms and sticks.

It is alleged that the pastor lured the victim by saying there was a special prayer that required a one-on-one session in the bushes. Upon arrival, he hugged and kissed her before allegedly forcing himself on her. Afterward, he reportedly told her not to tell anyone.

Speaking to Perfect Radio News, the pastor admitted to the act but claimed it was consensual.

“I am requesting forgiveness from the victim and the community. I was used by the devil,” he said.
