MOPYE VILLAGE | The Sebitso family is urgently in need of public assistance, after their three-roomed house was completely destroyed in a terrible fire that broke out at around midnight on Wednesday, 22 April 2026, at Mopye Village.
According to the family, the cause of the fire remains unknown at this stage. The fire destroyed the house to ashes and all their belongings, leaving the family with nothing.
The family is now appealing to the public at large for urgent assistance in rebuilding their lives. They are in need of clothing, school uniforms for three boys aged 17, 13, and 10, as well as one girl aged 9. They also require stationery and other school necessities for the children.
The three children aged 13, 10, and 9 require white shirts paired with grey trousers and grey skirts, meanwhile the eldest child, aged 17 requires black trousers together with white shirts and yellow shirts as part of their school uniform requirements.
