THE RAMEETSI FAMILY APPEALS TO THE PUBLIC FOR URGENT ASSISTANCE IN LOCATING AN ELDERLY MISSING MAN

JOKONG VILLAGE | The Rameetsi family is appealing to the public for urgent assistance in locating Jomo Rameetsi, popularly known as “Siquentshi”.

According to the information received from the family, Jomo Rameetsi is a 67-year-old man from Jokong Village. He is blind, deaf, and physically unfit to walk around on his own, which raises serious concerns for his safety and well-being.

The family says that they last saw him this evening on Sunday, 28 June 2026 at around 18H00 pm wearing a jean, a blue tracksuit top and white tekkies. They only realised that he was missing when they went to fetch him from his usual spot and discovered that he was no longer there.

A community search operation to locate Jomo is currently underway at Jokong village.
