WILLY SEROPANA FOUNDATION IS APPEALING TO THE PUBLIC FOR DONATIONS TO CONTINUE ASSISTING THOSE IN NEED

BURGERSFORT | Willy Seropana, founder of Willy Seropana Foundation, established the organisation in 2018 while he was still a matric learner at Shakung Secondary School. Willy is originally from Burgersfort. He started the foundation with the aim of helping those in need within his community.

 

He was inspired to start this initiative after noticing that some of his classmates could not afford sanitary pads. Moved by their situation, he started donating sanitary pads to learners at Shakung Secondary School in 2018. Since then, the foundation has continued to uplift those in need, despite having no formal funding and being entirely self-funded by Willy himself.

 

In March 2026, the foundation assisted a young boy by buying soccer boots for him and donated food parcels to Albert Mohlala, an elderly man who was trending on social media asking for assistance. Although food parcels has been donated to Albert, he remains in need of further assistance.

 

The foundation is now appealing to the public, businesses, and potential donors to contribute in helping the foundation to continue its mission of bringing hope and improve the living conditions of those in need.
