STOLEN VEHICLE SUCCESSFULLY RECOVERED FOLLOWING PUBLIC ASSISTANCE AND AN ANONYMOUS TIP-OFF

GA-MATIPANE | The white Toyota Conquest with registration number DXL 148 L, belonging to Mpho Mashala, which was reported stolen in the early hours of Wednesday, 08 April 2026, has been successfully recovered.

 

According to information received from the owner, the vehicle was recovered in the early hours of Friday morning, 17 April 2026, at Khutjwana Village after an anonymous tip-off which led to its location. The vehicle was found at the sports ground next to the graveyard, after the suspects reportedly fled the scene.

 

He further mentioned that arrests were made in connection with the matter. The recovered vehicle was allegedly stripped of some parts, which had been replaced with old parts.

 

Mpho Mashala expressed his sincere gratitude to everyone who played a role in the recovery of the stolen vehicle. He also extended his appreciation to the public at large. Thank you!!
